Editorial process
- Source. Ingest the NY OCA attorney registration and discipline datasets published on data.ny.gov, retaining each row’s official registration number and status codes.
- Verify. Every profile links back to the underlying public record fields; discipline counts and status labels are computed only from those source columns - never hand-typed.
- Publish. Render searchable attorney, city, and law-school pages with the same figures readers would find on the official roll, plus methodology notes where we add derived comparisons.
