This page lists every correction PlainAttorney has made to its pages or its data, newest first. Errors in the court system’s register itself are reported to the court system and are not listed here; the page for a record follows the register at the next file.
The corrections log

| Sep 29, 2026 | Withdrew the “lawyer fees by practice area” pages. Their figures were wage estimates from federal employment statistics multiplied by a factor, presented as fees; they were not fees any lawyer charges. The addresses now lead to the guide to New York’s fee rules. |
| Sep 29, 2026 | Removed the consumer-complaint (CFPB) figures from the discipline page. They counted complaints about financial companies, not about lawyers, and did not belong beside disciplinary records. |
| Sep 29, 2026 | Stopped grouping “Suspended, delinquent” registrations with disciplinary records: the register value combines a suspension with a lapsed registration, and the page now shows disbarments, disciplinary resignations and suspensions separately. |
| Sep 29, 2026 | Corrected the data date shown on pages: it is now the date the register file was downloaded from data.ny.gov, not a month label. |
| Sep 29, 2026 | Corrected attorney records that described every graduate with the same gendered word for alumni, and a tenure percentile that was computed in the wrong direction; both were removed and replaced by counts from the register. |
| Sep 29, 2026 | Merged law firm spellings that differ only by spacing or “&” (for example “BakerHostetler” and “Baker & Hostetler LLP”), which had been counted as separate firms. |
